A proper traverse of this Corbett, only the main top bagged on my earlier visit. Steep but straightforward ascent by the NW flankColin Crawford22/06/2023

After Beinn Dearg, then down to the northwest. Curiously, the path is good and distinct high up but eroded and unclear low down.Pete R08/09/2022
Very steep ascent from the glen but OK.Play2End04/06/2022
Round to the north, to the LHS of the boulderfield, lots of little tracks up the edge, and then folowed the grass up to the ridge. Steepiangalbraith15/05/2022
All three Beinn Dearg tops. Headed up to ridge too early and it was a real struggle and not very safe in places. Should have persevered to west ridge but I forgot what the guidebook had said and spotted my own poor line. After that the ridge was as was the decent directly south from the final top. All in all a very good mountain,. I may go back another day and get th ascent line right.dickscroop13/09/2021

Through Bealach a' Chomhla on the track to NG 8819 6103 whence headed for NG 8844 6183 to start the ascent up onto here. Path was found at a good height, but easy ascent prior to, on steep grassy ramps and some scrambling.jonglew15/09/2018
On the way to Beinn Dearg. Took a slightly too northerly line up the ridge and missed the faint path, but no real problems on a fine and dry day.Owen B09/07/2018
Beinn Dearg from Abhain Coire Mhic Nobuil car park. Horrendously windy on top but a magnificent mountain all the same. With Theresa.MorecambeMonkey19/05/2018

First summit on the Beinn Dearg horseshoe. Looked very steep from the Bealach, but wasn't too bad if you zig zagged a lot.ngthack03/07/2015

Cairngorm Club Meet. Alone. From the car park next to the bridge over Abhainn Coire Mhic Nobuil. Went up SSW ridge to Tom na Gruagaich. I reached Sgurr Mhor of Beinn Alligin, went across the 3 Horns of Alligin, then to Stuc na Cabhaig and Beinn Dearg. There was heavy rain and mist initially, clearing on the Horns, then occasional mist, with good views.pwbellarby22/09/1984
