Part of long day traversing Meallan Liath Coire Mhic Dhughaill and including Sabhal Beag. Start at Kinloch, exit via Lone and back to main road. | sarahk | 23/07/2023 |
From the end of the track to Aultanrynie, and followed the SMC/Walkhighlands route. Added on the Simms of Carn Dearg, Sail Rac and Tatha nam Beann before the main Corbett summit. Niggling injuries made me decide to leave off Meall Garbh. Reasonably tedious going over the peat hags either side of the Allt an Reinidh, but not as wet as it could have been. 21km, 5h 40 | Rockdoctor | 24/05/2023 |
Quick detour from ridge. | iangalbraith | 20/04/2023 |
Steep climb north with CM and D. Dave. Snow on the ridge and in cloud. | bolton | 31/03/2023 |
Up the ridge over the Meallan Liath Beag hills. Out and back to this fabulous summit out on a limb from the Corbett. With Phil & Chris. | Dangerous Dave | 31/03/2023 |

Parked in car park by bridge for a long round of 12 Tumps in 13 hours. 8/12. From Tatha nam Beann. Onwards to Meallan Liath Beag. | PGCE | 09/05/2021 |
Good path from Aultanrynie to Carn Dearg then back over the 741m top to sail Rac, out to Meall Garbh, back and out to Tatha nam Bheinn and finishing over Meallan Liath Coire Mhic Dhugall. A very good day | dickscroop | 21/08/2020 |
On walk over tops from Aultanrynie to Meallan Liath Coire Mhic Dhughaill- essentially the walk in the SMC Corbetts guide including Carn Dearg and adding Sail Rac. Satisfying to have such a good high ridge section to this walk. Sunny, warm off the ridges, great visibility and the mountain to myself. The ridge from Meallan Liath Beag was very enjoyable as the best route from the bealach was by its E face, good views throughout. Good views from the HP, well worth the little effort to add this to the ascent of the Corbett. | pwheeler | 24/05/2018 |
