Cnoc Sgriodain, Ben Klibreck, Creag an Lochain. Cold & snowy! | Geoff Briggs | 24/11/2023 |
Cnoc Sgriodain, Creag an Lochain & Ben Klibreck from parking at bridge. | JasonStark | 12/08/2023 |
Solo on way to Ben Klibreck following mainly the obvious WH route, from a now decent sized car park created by the wind farm works (by the bridge over the Allt an Chraisg), but with a diversion over the Simm of Craig an Lochain on the way. | DampandDusty | 06/08/2023 |
Plz note: I reckon the summit is near NC 49848 64389 or, less likely NC 49993 64183. In the mist with a cheap Etrex 10.
As Steve Hudson. 'ard work between when trod runs out and main drag on the ridge. | Eddie | 19/09/2022 |
Came over here after Ben Klibreck. Flat grassy summit area. Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 27/07/2022 |
En route to Ben Klibreck from Vagastie bridge. Initially cloud free then cloud suddenly descended. | Denise | 26/07/2022 |
Returned. Clear. Onto high point. Carn an feidh, creag an lochain 808 & 795. And outlier cherry . Dug deep for that. Waht a TRUDGE back onto main track for B Klibreack and back to car | VerySlowPlodder | 12/08/2021 |
Parked at Vagastie. Cnoc Sgriodain and Creag an Lochain. Very boggy (isn't every route on Ben Klibreck?!). | PGCE | 19/10/2020 |
A second ascent of Ben Klibreck, this time from the East in fine weather which gave a fine walk along virtually the whole ridge. Biked from tent about 3 miles east of Loch Choire then straight up to Meall Ailean, along the ridge to Meall nan Con and on to Creagan Lochain and the unnamed to beyond. Then, once I had found the line an easy drop down from near the end of the ridge to the loch side path and the long but pleasant loch side walk back to the bike. A long but excellent walk for a fine day. | dickscroop | 10/08/2020 |

Ascent Klibreck to Crask Inn, 23 km over Ben Klibreck's 3 main tops. Made a very good solo walk, enabled by the kind offer of a lift back to Alltnahara B&B so I could really enjoy 'their' mountain | pwheeler | 18/05/2009 |

Start ~ 536289, Strath Vagastie. Followed faint path up past Loch Bad an Loch and then Loch nan Uam. We then took a direct route up onto the ridge baring left to the summit. The whole hill was running with water. Descended over A'Chaoirnichain and Carn an Fheidh, then down the broad ridge to the west. A much better route. With Wombourne & Ron. | steve hudson | 26/04/2008 |

Ascent of Ben Klibreck from the Crask | Flatfield | 18/05/2003 |
The usual Ben Klibreck route from the A836 with Smithy on an overcast but clear & very windy day. Creag an Lochain first, then Meall nan Con. Had some fun on the top by leaning into the westerly gale using the waterproof jacket as a sail. Near the bottom on the descent, a Nimrod suddenly appeared from behind the hill & flew down the strath, banked so far over, it seemed that a crash was inevitable. It wasn't! | NotReallyABagger | 02/09/2002 |
