Parked by cattle grid at NM897603. Crossed cattle grid and followed forest fence. Continued up glen following Allt a Chothrium heading to col north of Meall a Chuilinn ST and then south to the Simm. No climbing required. From the west side of the col a grassy ramp leads to the summit of Meall a Chuilinn. Followed ridge round to Garbh Bheinn and Sron a Garbh Choire Mor. Weaved around cliffs / outcrops back to cattle grid.BaggerGutt20/06/2022
Parked to S by cattle grid. Strong W winds, so went up beside stream into corrie, and onto ridge between Meall a' Chuillinn and it's S Top. Nice sheltered route, mainly on deer tracks.PGCE13/05/2022
Druim min both tops, beinn bheag far west top, beinn bheag west top, sron lag nam gamhana, garbh bheinn repeat, sron a ghairbh coire mhoir, meall a chuilinn, meall a chuilinn south top from unmapped track at 8673 6053 which runs out after about 1.5 km.robertphillips04/09/2021
Almost a perfect day in excellent weather Up Garbh Beinn via the normal route over Sron a Garbh Mhoir, a really fine trip with interesting sections but no real difficulties. The SW and S over Meall a Chuilinn and its S top. I had no advance info about this but it was fine, just pleasant walking. Having studied it from road plan was to drop down east into Coire an Iubhair but it was extremely steep and I bottled it. It would have been fine as an ascent route. So headed west on ridge to a less steep line down S to road. This is what took the edge off the day, the decent was fine but the hack through the felled forest to the road was not. The a short walk up the road to the cattle grid where I had left my bike and free wheeled all the way back to my tent/car. A very good day despite the felled forest.dickscroop02/08/2021
From SSE via the GT, then on to Garbh-bheinn via its S topRHW14/10/2013
With my grandson, Matthew, and a party from Alltshellach, the HF Guesthouse. This was the harder walk to Garbh Bheinn (Ardgour). The coach took us to Glen Tarbert. We walked up a forestry track. We then walked eastwards, eventually going up the west ridge of Meall a' Chuilinn North Top (773m) to reach the summit. We continued to the West Top of Garbh Bheinn (lunch) and the main summit of Garbh Bheinn. We descended over Sron a' Ghairbh Choire Mhoir and down the SE ridge to reach the road. Some played cricket using a walking pole as a bat as we waited for the coach. The weather was good and warming up.pwbellarby21/07/2008
With a friend. Parked in Glen Tarbert about NM880605. We walked up through forest and a little west to meet a prominent ravine. Went up the east side and after a 90º bend on the south side to reach the Graham Top of Meall a' Chuilinn South Top. Snow was lying quite thick and crisp above 600m. We wondered if we could actually get up Garbh Bheinn, our prime objective, in these conditions. We climbed up to the 773m top Meall a' Chuilinn. Continued to Garbh Bheinn.pwbellarby22/02/2006
