From NT car park at Dodgson Wood with M following same route as Summitter.PeterD29/12/2023
With Carol - Park on verge just north of Water Park, near High Nibthwaite. Use track from High Nibthwaite village to the top of Top o’ Selside (1099’) (and second top). Good views of Lake Coniston, and Coniston Range, to the west. Reverse the last ascent and then head to High Light Haw (867’), Low Light Haw (810’) and Brock Barrow (748’). From summit pillar, head east and pick up path to Caws Beck, returning to High Nibthwaite. Hot (27 degrees) and breezy. A great clockwise walk. Navigation, using paths and sheep tracks, generally straightforward.DABT05/09/2023

Day after my birthday having gone on a speed boat with Bec and the kids we started our week off by dropping the cat and Myla off and making our way to a very hot sunny Coniston. Parking at Nibthwaite and an old lady moving her van to let us park we made our way around the side and up the back. Absolutely gorgeous day. Only took about 35mins to get to the top. We sat down and took in the amazing views of Coniston lake and the farmers cutting their grass. Fantastic start to the week and the weather was getting hotter and hotter.Scotty 2 Hotty20/06/2022

From Low Light Haw. Best done in descent for this Wainwright trio, so as to benefit from gravity assist. Easy descent down steep grassy slopes to ESE.Isbjorn10/10/2020
From High Nigh Nibthwaite: Top O' Selside (Wainwright top); Top o' Selside (true summit);Heel Toe Hill; Arnsbarrow Hill; Arnsbarrow Hill South Top/Stang Moss; High Light Haw; Low Light Haw and Brockbarrow. Clear September day with high winds. Descended via Wainwright route, not recommended treacherous with high bracken, brambles and gorse.Lazylizzie12/09/2020
ACW circuit from road 200 yards N of High Nibthwaite. Head-high bracken, brambles and gorse blocked Wainwright’s route up Buck Barrow, so I followed the path by the wall E and cut up slopes of bracken and scree to the true summit and WO summit at the square cairn. Thereafter, a hugely enjoyable walk through a miniature upland of rock and heather tops: Low Light Haw, High Light Haw, Arnsbarrow S and N, Heel Toe Hill and the true and WO summits of Top O’Selside, returning by the green lane.Nick Down109/09/2020

Parked at Dodgson Wood car park & up through the woods. Top o'Selside (WO/B)-Top o'Selside (Ma)-Heel Toe Hill-Arnsbarrow Hill-Stang Hill-High Light Haw-Low Light Haw-Brockbarrow. Visited the true summit on Brockbarrow then Wainwright's 2 cairns before heading down to the Cumbria Way as the sun was setting. Beautiful colours & great views over Coniston Water & the Coniston Massif. Descended through the woods by headtorch. On own.MorecambeMonkey02/11/2017
Climbed from High Nibthwaite. Couldnt find a direct route up due to impenetrable bracken and gorse. Instead, walked along the county road to a point due north then turned upwards across rough fell, eventually picking up a series of feint paths through the much smaller bracken.moorsman20/09/2017
WOs 7,8,9 and 10; Bs 2,3 and 4. Bike in for repair at Ambleside so used car fetched from Ayside campsite while Joyce cycled from Hawkshead to campsite at Water Yeat in showery rain. Today I bagged two Outlying Wainwrights from my to do list which I missed off on a previous walk up to Top O'Selside. I climbed from roadside parking near High Nibthwaite. I did not ascend directly up the front of the fell but decided to take an easier route to the side. Great views to Coniston Water from the top although the weather was overcast.Neil Haslewood17/10/2015
