Ben Nevis path from the Visitor Centre, then easily up over grass/heather. Cloud-free summit offered unusual views of surrounding area but The Ben and Mamores all in cloud above 900m.benalder28426/11/2023
Parking at one of the last places where one can park without charge or restrictions. Ascended via a deviation (no FP) from the Tourist Path up Ben Nevis. Snatched out of a fortnight of abysmal inclement weatherIsbjorn28/09/2023
Up the tourist path to 550m then grassy slopes to summit. Returned same way. My 1700th Simm.NormanW25/03/2023
Up the predictably busy Nevis path but then good tramp in fresh snow to the summit. Gorgeous view of the Ben. Followed a local walker down NNE ridge and round to steep descent below Creag Chail back to Achintee. An excellent circuit.Tony S18/02/2023

Just an amble up the pony path to conservation corner then off pieste to the summit.Aristotle Chip10/09/2022
I started from the Ben Nevis Inn carpark very early (5 am) and I reached the summit at 8:20. At this time weather was really fine. Coming back i crossed a real crowd but with a diversion I encircled lake Meall an t-Suidhe and the reached the Meall an t-Suidhe summit, where I met a single hiker.Pampuco02/06/2022
On the Ben Nevis path from the youth hostel, then up over grass and heather to summit.LizH18/09/2021

On Ben Nevis ascent from Ben Nevis pub/ Achintee. At Loch, ascend over tussocky grass to obvious hp: cairn on rock outcrop. Some clear views but mainly swirling cloud.Denise 15/09/2021
A detour to this lonely summit from the crowded Ben Nevis tourist route via its S Top.RichardM15/09/2021
Quick up and down from the YHA. Left at 17:45 to avoid the worst of the hoi polloi, and get a parking spot. Amused to overtake on my way down some of the people I had met on the way up.PGCE27/06/2021

14:00, 24 degrees, sunny, humid, calm but remarkably midge free at Glen Nevis car park. Toiled up the tourist path with bag for life and we were glad to walk through the bog onto Meall an t-Suide to cool our feet. Nice breeze on the summit ridge, predictably fine views, especially the close-up of the bulk of The Ben. Seems odd to me that hardly anyone climbs to such an obvious summit. Long, tedious descent down the awful, awful tourist path. 7km in 3.5 hours but we could both have sworn we were walking faster.Wycombe Wanderer11/08/2020

Quite a lot of late season snow still freshly falling. Made a cross country descent to the north and it felt a million miles away from the manicured and overrun tourist side of the hill.Alex C28/04/2016
Fort William circular: Up via the tourist track (being repaired/improved) then descent to distillery.Smudge18/03/2016

Had walked past it many times, so on my way back from the CIC after a climb, I decided to nip over it on my way home. Up the N end and down the S before enduring another descent of the tourist path. ( Date approx, as it was a long time ago )Gonk01/02/1967
Probably been up 100 times, best way is via one of the west-facing gullies.AndrewFinnimoreblank
