3/4 - very faint path on E edge of forest before dipping into forest for a bit to summit...wychwood03/07/2023
Lumpy summit of grass and heather after short thrash NE from forest track. Continued NW. Sunny, clear views.Denise 17/10/2022
From forest track to W, short but rough ascent og grass/moss/heather to un-marked high point.RichardM17/10/2022
Parked in the car park at Aberllfenni, and walked up forest roads with a short but awful ascent up a steep slope in newly planted area onto the ridge between Ceiswyn and Mynydd Fron-fraith - heather, bramble and rotting wood! Once on the ridge all pretty straightforward, first to Mynydd Fron-fraith, then back track to the high point of the day at Ceiswyn, then by ATV track and forest road to Mynydd Cwmeiddew, and further forest roads with a short bit through the forest into open country to Godre Fynydd. Finally, a descent down a delightful forest path NE brought me back onto the forest road above Aberllfenni, then with a big loop round back to the car. Good views of Cader. A round trip of 16km with 700m ascent, taking 5h 20m.silveracorn_alan09/08/2022
Parked at the mountain centre on the A487 grid ref 73887 09200 and used the footpath opposite to reach the forest roads to Godre Fynydd and Mynydd Cwmeiddew finishing on the open hillside for Ceiswyn and Mynydd Fron-fraith, returned by the same route. Eight and half mile in Five hours twenty (I did start off the wrong way down the forest road at the start probably lost forty minutes).WAYNE ROWLETT29/05/2021

Ranger says it's fine to walk up forestry roads. Private signs are to keep vehicles out.Deedubr30/03/2017
Parked in the lay-by on the A487 near Rugog (SH 73499 10079). Walked up the road south for several hundred metres (with care), then over low barbed wire fence to climb steeply up to the forest edge (to avoid the farm at Ty'n y llechwedd and its 'private - keep out' sign). Then followed various forest roads and tracks north-east - careful navigation needed. Left the track at its highest point to climb roughly up a few metres over thick heather to the summit. Encountered a forester planting, but he gave me a friendly wave. Walk continued to Ceiswyn. Solo.Man of Kernow117/12/2016
Godre Fynydd, Mynydd Cwneiddew, Ceiswyn and Mynydd Fron Fraith. Parked in layby on A487, walked half a mile south down the road then east across a field to avoid the grumpy sign on the entrance to the forest track. At the top of the field I worked my way up tracks to near the first top and then made it up as I went along really.clivevilla20/09/2016
