| From lay-by on A86 west of Loch Laggan (NN 43299 83044). South across River Spean bridge then followed excellent Land-Rover track as far as Lochan na h-Earba then good path up to Bealach Leamhain. North on good but wet path before striking NE on intermittent grassy/stony path to the summit of Geal Charn. Down to boggy col between this and Creag Pitridh before clear, easy path to the summit. | Circuit of Beinn a'Chlachair, its East Top, Geal Charn, Sron Garbh and Creag Pitridh from Moy Bridge . Outstanding views in all directions. Got so absorbed in watching two roe deer at quite close quarters that I fell into a hole between tussocks on the descent from Pitridh.
