Short diversion from the PW to reach the summit of Brownhart Law. Rejoined the PW for 6km hike over Lamb Hill and up to the summit of Beefstand Hill. Descended by its south ridge, using a gate in the deer fence, and down to join RoW to Carlcroft. Then back up the road to Buckham's Bridge. Solo. 23.7km, with 730m of ascent.Man of Kernow125/07/2021

Easy walk from around NT 80.09 crossing Pennine Way en-route. Summit just over fence at top, and a little further is a memorial stone to Thomas Elliot Elliot 1909-1990, with a lot of 'Fellowship' initials after his name. Must have been an eminent person. Continued easily to Deel's Hill.Aye Jimmy11/05/2016
Parked in car park beside the minor road to the SE of Brownhart Law with an armed guard. Then Brownhart Law, Blackhall Hill, Raeshaw Fell, Lamb Hill, Callaw Cairn, Beefstand Hill, Mozie Law, Windy Rig, Windy Gyle, Ward Law and Shorthope Hill before returning to my car below Barrow Burn before returning to collecting Adrian Dust’ s car back at our start. Just a fantastic two car walk.Dugswell201/10/2015
Easy parking to South.destaylor13/08/2015
A round from Chew Green carpark of Brownhart Law, Hungry Law, Ravens Knowe, Thirl Moor. Much of walk on either quod bike tracks or forest tracks. Footpaths and sheep trods covered most of rest. Section from Browhart Law to Hungry Law would be a nightmare in the wet but relatively dry (at moment) for most of that section but there was the odd bit of wet ground. Tried to cut down through the forest to save time but failed. Planting is newish (5 years old?) and difficult to move through. Followed track to NE of Heart's Toe then to NT77634/05894. New planting abuts old planting. Went up through old planting to Ravens Knowe. Good walking then all the way to Thirl Moor. Dropped down to old round sheep fold at NT80037/08666 and Up hillside to track slanting across the hillside. Followed to road and back to carpark. A good walk.MikeM23/04/2015
Parked at Tow Ford and walked along road to Nether Hindford. Followed track up to Roman forts and back along Dere Street. Bagged trig at the end. Fantastic day and views.BigJ16/04/2015

Part of a Cheviots peak-bag starting from Blindburn. Ground frozen which was welcome - would have been a bit of a bogtrot otherwise. High point is on the Scottish side of the fence!Crib Goch23/02/2013

w. Darren. Dewey bagging from Byrnes YH. I had forgotten I had done Hungry Law before! - however gave a chance to clamber through 50 feet of brashings and thick heather to detour onto Greyhound Law then followed border fence to Brownhart Law above the (not much to see) Chew Green Roman camp -PW back over Raven's Knowe.Chris Pearson03/08/2006
