FIRST DAY OF DRY SPELL. WENT UP FROM LANGDALE TOWARDS ANGLE TARN THEN OVER ROSSETT PIKE TO BAG BLACK CRAGS AND BUCK PIKE. DOWN TO STAKE PASS AND UP ONTO LANGDALE PIKES TO BAG THORN CRAG. Climbed up Mickleden Beck to Angle Tarn, then the summit of Allen Crags (784m), Great End (910m), Scarfell Pike (978m) for the 'On Top of....' event and then back down via Rossett Pike (651m) and Stake Pass. From Millbeck Farm where I stayed, along the road past ODG, up the Band to Bowfell, Bowfell N. Top, across to Pike de Bield and Yeastyrigg Crags before Esk Pike. Then NW, NE and SE to Tongue Head and continued to Rossett Pike, Buck Pike and Black Crags. Went across to Martcrag Moor before returning via the Cumbrian Way. 15 miles in over 7 hours.clivevilla23/04/2019
