7/7 Little Round How, Great Round How, Seavy Knott, Haystacks South East Top, Innominate Peak, Haystacks (repeat) and finally Green Crag. All from free parking half way up to Honister from Seatoller. Easy enough walk. Lost our camera on the way round but some nice soul found it and handed it in at Honister Mines (thank you very much whoever you are).nickywood120/03/2022

Parked the night on Wed 19th in Honister slate mines car park. As grim rainy forecast blowing in from noon-ish, hyper early start at 5.30. Even at my slow pace reckoned is get round a triangle of Fleetwith Pike, Haystacks 'n Brandreth in about 6 hours. Rains arrived early about 10.30. Got well soaked in the last hour.vegibagger20/05/2021

With Sarah Evans, sunny day turning cloudy as day progressed, snow on high peaks including a dusting on Haystacks. Parked at Gatesgarth Farm, ascended via Scarth Gap Pass, onto summit, via tarns, along to just below Dubs Quarry, to descend alongside Warnscale Beck/ waterfall and into Warnscale Bottom using old mine path. Very cold and windy on the top, with definite wind chill factor, however stunning views. Haystacks is essentially a big chunk of rock with no defined summit, due to its rocky, craggy nature. I'm not sure I understand its appeal and I wont be rushing to do it again. However maybe a second explore on a warmer day may change my mind.Ruth Mackay27/03/2021
