Its alright | Lauralj84 | 27/08/2022 |
Tilted verge parking at NY993014. Easy up old mine road, but no obvious turn off to trig before HP. Due S at HP – tiresome deep soft veg to trig. FP sets off N from trig but fizzles out in tough veg – extrapolation of line meets mine road at final spoil heap. | Isbjorn | 13/08/2022 |

From Surrender Bridge we followed Old Gang Beck up to the Old Gang Smelting Works (an impressive ruin). Onward to Level House Bridge, into Flincher Gill then Forefield Rake before heading for summit and trig. Dropped to bridleway North of summit ( good views down into Arkengarthdale from this track) back through more old mineworking's and tips to the minor road at Turf Moor then road via Forer Gill Gate to Surrender Bridge | briandavies | 21/07/2020 |
With Jamie. Set off from CB inn, down to Langthwaite, over bridge, down the E side of the beck with the aim to cross at the footbridge. Unfortunately it had been wiped out by a flood so we had to wade across at the shallowest point.
