Roadside verge parking (SD 7827 9973). Good track up to High Dolphinsty, then followed the wall to Low Dolphinsty after which another track leads up to summit, marked by a few rocks in the grass - the cairn is a distraction.jonglew14/02/2019

Pleasant walk from N over Greenlaw Rigg. Tuck your wing-mirrors in when parking - the wild ponies like rubbing against them!Aye Jimmy25/05/2015
Parking is possible on the verge east of Hazelgill where the Pennine Bridleway reaches the road at an altitude of 941ft. Follow the signposted PB as far as High Dolphinsty then bear to the east of the ridge wall, following a good path to the top. Don't try and skirt round Low Dolphinsty on the return as you have to regain the height you lose in order to re-join the path down.... easier to just go back over the small rise.moorsman15/10/2014
