Continuation of walk from Featherbed Top. Headed down to the Pennine Way, then easy walk on the flagstone path all the way to the summit. To return, took eroded boggy Snake Path down the clough back to the forest and up to the car park. With AT and JT on a fine day.marktrengove26/03/2017

From Hope Forest car park, up onto the Kinder Scout northern escarpment at Seal Stones, then along the ridge past Fairbrook Maze onto Mill Hill. Back via the Snake Path by Ashop Clough. Ridge by far the best bit and would recommend this walk even if Mill Hill isn't being bagged!BobHancock25/03/2017

From Snake Pass via Featherbed Top. Excellent flagstone path across desolate moorland in thick fog. Bitterly cold. Fog partially cleared to give a view over to a looming Kinder Scout.Campbell Singer26/01/2017

4th hill of five today on a traverse from Hadfield station to Edale station via Mouselow castle, skirting Glossop, up Yellowslacks Brook to Bleaklow then Alport Moor over Alport river and then on bearing back onto Pennine Way. Explored area NE of cairn as this was the best place for a picture; this was my penultimate Derbyshire tump. Carried on Pennine Way to Kinder Low trig point.Dazingdale27/02/2016

Evening ascent from the Snake Pass, up over Mill Hill, up along the edge to Kinder Downfall. Followed the stream onto the plateau and up to the flat summit of Kinder Scout. Cut direct back to the edge near Kinder Low, and then retracing my steps to Kinder Downfall and Mill Hill, returning to the Snake Pass well after after sunset. Beautiful evening if a little windy. Route approximately 20Km.VirtualMountain13/05/2015

Nice windy afternoon out on the paved path from Snake Pass - left the path for Featherbed Top then down to Mill Hill, before turning back over the road and heading off across the peat to Higher Shelf Stones. Decided to leave Bleaklow Head for a day when I have time to get across to Alport Moor too :) Caution needed when leaving toward the west - it's on a bit of a blind crest and the layby is angled away from the road, anyone going much above the limit (and there are a few!) will struggle to slow down for youthe_adam30/03/2015
