From Crowden including Featherbed Moss en route. Very cold and clear. With Janet. | steveb2006 | 28/11/2023 |
Walked from Greenfield Station on tarmac road, up past Dove Stone Reservoir and gravel track to Chew Reservoir. From Chew Reservoir path becomes boggy and difficult to follow. At gate and stile turn left and go up to summit north of small cairn. Views of barren moors for miles around. Onwards to Black Hill. The best county top yet. | hillbagger91 | 14/10/2023 |

Followed fence line up from right of way about 300m to the south. A small cairn seems to be close to but not at the actual summit. Excellent 360 view | Vulcan | 09/08/2023 |

3/5 From Wessenden Head we walked along the road to collect West Nab then back onto the Pennine Way up to Black Hill (Revisit) and followed it down towards Crowden to use as a ramp up onto Black Chew Head and along easy path to Featherbed Moss. Then back u to Black Hill (Revisit of the Revisit) and out on the Footpath South West to get White Low which looks miles but walks out and back very well in under an hour. So therefore we Revisited the revisit of the revisit of Black Hill (getting a bit silly now) and finally decided to go home. A lovely round in a very cool June wind. (NB no big stick in the cairn here today) | nickywood1 | 04/06/2022 |

From Crowden Caravan & Camping Club site, up the Pennine Way to Laddow Rocks. Turn left off PW at cairn then after 400m follow fence to the right to summit marked by small pile of stones on west side of fence.
