2/4 Parked as suggested at the tea shop farm and then up from the west, on along the ridge to trig at The Roaches, continued to visit the Lud Church (chilly little rock chasm) and over the river to Gradbach Hill, along its ridge and back to Ramshaw rocks. A pleasant four hour circuit bofore our drive home. Muggy but nice fresh air up here.nickywood113/06/2021

Parking field at Roaches Tea Room for £2 for the day well worth it on a busy bank holiday weekend. Saw a couple of verge parked cars sporting penalty notices. Ouch. Bagged Hen Cloud, following path around to climb the east face. On to pine woodland below edge of The Roaches. The heat drawing a wonderful aroma from the trees. Up a pass and along the top to the summit. Plenty of trippers, made slow going, but they were there for a reason - its a great bag. Also bagged The Gun and The Cloud. Enough for a warm day.Pete West30/05/2021

Superb walk from Hen Cloud, a classic, done many times before after climbing there. Free roadside parking along road to SW of the Roaches Escarpment. Views west are hard to beat. Reascent. Never before spotted the huge trig cutmark next to the modern trig.Denise 09/06/2020
Along the top of the edge from Hen Cloud. Good views. What I assume to be the nice original trig mark in the high point rock. Also on :- 15-01-1989,RichardM09/06/2020
