I probably ascended this one in 1999, so this visit was a make sure one as I traversed the rangeColin Crawford07/09/2016
From Devils Kitchen/Glyder Fawr, with Jody. A storm was coming in by this time, our compass had broken and although we were right next to it we couldn't find the way across to Glyder Fach to finish the route. After an hour or two lost in fog we finally found the line of cairns to return the way we came, getting back to the car after dark - interesting day!the_adam06/08/2016

Sixth summit of the Day on an epic exploration from Capel Curig taking the ridge rising to Gallt Yr Ogof, Y Foel Goch, Tryfan Far South Peak, Tryvan, (then injured left knee by slipping and falling heavily on the rocks) scrambled up Bristly ridge, Glyder Fach and then mist started to sweep across the plateaux but still this is a fantastic peak. GReat pinnacles like something out of the Lord of the Rings. Scrambled up to the highest pinnacle and then descended the ridge of pinnacles, some resembling sharpened pencils stuck together before heading on to Glyder Fawr. This is a place where a compass is indispensable as weather can turn very suddenly. Went on to ascend Glyder Fawr and then Y Garn before climbing back over the ridge to trek across to the Pen Y Gwryd hotel via Moel Berfydd.Dazingdale07/07/2014
We had to do this one as it classifies as a Nuttall. Nice scramble up the shattered rock, took a bit of thinking when tired but easy route off to the East.fnem05/07/2014

Parked below Tryfan ans went up Heather terrace to the south col. Left Lindsey with the dogs while I went up Tryfan. Fine and warm up till we went on the miners track and headed to Glyder Fach when the cloud came in and by the time we got to the cantilever it was raining. Went up Glyder Fack in hail which made it slippery. Castell y Gwynt was also tricky in the hail. Kept to the top of the crags looking down to Bochlwyd and Gribin. Wandered on th where nameless Cwm tops out and on to Glyder Fawr. Descent through Devils kitchen to Idwal and back along A5 to the car.axe.stephen24/04/2014
