Climbed solo from Llyn Ogwen via Heather terrace to Bwlch Tryfan, steep path to the east of Bristly ridge, Glyder Fach, Castell y Gwynt, Glyder Fawr, Devil's Kitchen, Llyn Idwal and return to A5. Beautiful calm, sunny and warm day with good views. Time 5 hours. Heather terrace rougher than expected. Final ascent to Glyder Fach very eroded. Completed Welsh 3000'ers with my ascent of Castell y Gwynt, which I had missed out on previous visits. Lovely little scramble up a jagged tor.jamessteel10024/02/2019

Great day out on the Winter Solstice with GFE. Approached from Pen-y-Gwryd. Castell y Gwynt, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. Beautiful weather on the way up until 750m and then dreadfully wet and windy. Saw three people on the summit of Glyder Fawr and no one else all day.Fionalevey21/12/2018

Walked as part of a linear walk from Pen y pass to Capel Curig. Bus to Pen y Pass then walked up to Glyder Fawr, Castell y Gwynt, Glyder Fach, Y Foel Goch and Galt Yr Ogof. Terrible mist and wind with no viability of the main Glyders, but the cloud cleared to reveal a beautiful day and spectacular views on Y Foel Goch and Galt Yr Ogof.Lazylizzie04/09/2018
