Parked at Maggies Bridge. The round of Mellbreak North and South Tops, Hen Comb, Floutern Cop, Banna Fell E Top, Gavel Fell, Blake Fell and Burnbank Fell. Cloudy day with some sun but chilly NE wind. Some snow left on the top of Blake Fell from the weekend but surrounding higher hills looked impressive - across to Grasmoor and Red Pike/High Stile. Worth mentioning the good track not on the map heading off NE from Burnbank that curls N to meet up with the bw below and facilitate a more direct return to Maggies Bridge. A round of the Loweswater Fells from Maggies Bridge, visiting Mellbreak (both tops), Scale Knott, Hen Comb, Floutern Cop, Banna Fell (E Top), Gavel Fell, Blake Fell, Carling Knott, and Burnbank Fell. A lovely autumn day, with the Buttermere area getting the best of the sunny weather, most of the Lakeland Fells were capped with mist. 23km with 1200m ascent taking me 8 hours. | silverwolf_alan | 27/10/2023 |

A bit of dodgy map reading meant we did this one by accident. At least it is another top to add to the list. | JThorn | 27/05/2023 |

A Six and half mile walk from a parking area to the East of Kirkland at a T junction grid 087183, taking in the Birketts of Kelton fell, Godworth, Banna fell, Floutern cop, Gavel fell, High Nook, High Pen, Low Pen and Knock Murton. Time was not recorded as the weather was strong winds and torrential rain and the only real route problem was access to the East side of Knock Murton as a large number of trees had been blown down so resorted to a up and down route from the track to the south. | WAYNE ROWLETT | 12/02/2022 |
From the track south of Fangs Brow Farm to Burnbank Fell then Owsen Fell, doubling back to Burnbank Fell before heading south. Criss-crossed between Sharp Knott, Carling Knott and Loweswater End then up to Blake Fell. Down to High Nook and Gavel Fell then over to the Banna Fells, before finishing on the knobbly Floutern Cop. Headed home along the wet path then lovely track above Whiteoak Beck and Holme Wood. 4.5hrs total. | summitter | 16/01/2022 |

Lovely sunny, clear day so went for eight Lamplugh fells from Kirkland T-junction. Easy walk over Kelton Fell, Godworth and down to sheepfolds. Horrid rough and dreary climb up to Banna Fell then nice summit of Floutern Cop. Decided to add Little Dodd (Hen Comb N. top) as flat path but then had dreary and tiring climb onto High Nook. Easy over High Pen and Low Pen then a steep climb onto Knock Murton with great views. A good bag of 9. | BURGESS | 12/06/2021 |

Only my second time up here! Lovely little summit. On a very leisurely Second Round of Birketts. With Alfie. | Dangerous Dave | 24/04/2021 |
Mostly unscathed by the fire damage on all the adjacent fells. It felt an oasis amidst the desolation. Spend 15 mins in meditation with a Raven!
Nearby was the burned out remains of a tent.Perhaps the source of the fire? | Karmakarl | 05/03/2021 |
