Parked at Balsporran Cottages. Circuit of Geal Charn, Bruach nan Lomairean, A'Mharconaich, Beinn Udlamain, old Sgairneach Mhor, Sgairneach Mhor, Sgairneach Mhor E Top and the Sow of Atholl. Prepositioned second car at the road to take us back to Balsporran Cottages to save the 4km cycle path walk. Blustery but generally clear and an enjoyable walk. With Gillian, Denise, Tony and Zoe and meeting Bernard and Sarah on some of the tops.richard6903/10/2023

Solo from Dalnaspidal Lodge. Sow of Atholl, down to the bealach then up an ATV track and joining the main track to Sgairneach Mhor. Continued on to Beinn Udlamain, then returned to car the same way, going over the top of Sgairneach Mhor again. Lovely, sunny day. Plenty of folk out.DampandDusty13/05/2023
Parked in lay-by 79 under the railway bridge, ignored footbridge over the river, climbed higher on the path before picking a spot to cross, following an intermittent path.colinfielding26/04/2023

With Martha. SW wind, gusting 35/40mph around midday made walking a little awkward on occasion, dying out as day progressed. Also Beinn Udlamain, A'Mharconaich & Beinn Udlamain. Tops mostly in the clouds.Neily There03/08/2022

With Rob from A 9 we started at 10.00 mist overvtops snow to 800 feet. Walked along trackundercrsilway to spur road across stream to ascend slopes to Sgairneach Mhor. Easy walk until last 300 m when snow became slab ice and crampons were needed. One each. Freezing on summit but great views. Descended gradualsnow slopes across to Beinn Uldhamain. Met walker in goggles. Ascended easy slopes to snowy summit great views. Descent from ridge a mixture of glissando and slide with ice axe braking. Long walk back along track. 10 miles 3300 feet of climb and ascent.david.walker4004/03/2022
