Parked at Burnbanks, then walked a circuit of Pinnacle Howe, Little Birkhouse Hill, Four Stones Hill, Bampton Common, Low Kop, High Kop, Red Crag (on the west side of the fence), Raven Howe (on the west side of the wall), High Raise, Low Raise and Castle Crag (awkward descent). The return along the reservoir path seemed to take forever, but this was a good outing.oldbagger2710/02/2022

A GOOD FORECAST SO WENT FOR A BIG ONE ABOVE MARDALE WITH A WILD CAMP. FROM ROAD NEAR LITTLEWATER ALONG FOOTPATH THEN EXCELLENT TRACK UP TO THE HIGH STREET ROMAN ROAD, NIPPING OFF TO BAG PINNACLE HOWE, FOUR STONES HILL, BAMPTON FELL AND LOW KOP. THEN TOOK IN RED CRAG AND OUT TO LOW RAISE AND CAMPED IN SHELTERED HOLLOW ON RIDGE S.E. OF SUMMIT. GREAT VIEWS ALL DAY.BURGESS18/07/2019
