Started early from Balsporran Cottage. Plenty of snow and a bit of mist at the top landed us at the eastern cairn, and it was only after I checked the GPS that I realized we needed to go to the western cairn. Sun came out on descent of south ridge with fine views of ben Alder.mindlessflogger31/03/2016

Bagged from Beinn Udlamain really, in the interest of doing all 4 Drumochter Munros in a day. We went 30m up the SW ridge of A'Mharconaich to avoid steep ground then made a bee line for the S ridge Geal-charn. Good visibility was helpful, being high above Loch Ericht gave enjoyment.
