Descended WNW from Creag an Loch, to meet the track below, near a junction. Took the NW branch, to a suitable crossing point for the burn, then up onto Creag Choille to meet a fence, following this S to the summit. Insulated crossing point for the potentially electric fence, near the summit, but not necessary today. Descended S and SSE towards a wall, finding a good ATV track on its S side leading back to the vehicle track past Turrerich. | LizH | 06/01/2024 |
Space to park at road end Turrerich. lots of tracks not on map, gambled one would lead to this hill, it didnt, so a bit of a heather bash. Electric fence to cross to get to highest point, but handy rubber covers at the appropriate point. Nice Walkers welcome sign on road to farm. | hils | 19/11/2021 |

Not sure about going up, strong wind in valley and squally rain but turned out OK. A round of 5 tops from glen Quaich. Creag Choille; past new wind turbines to Meall Odhar; on to Meall Dearg Far W top; Meall Dearg; Creag an Loch and down to track. A nice round in the end. | dickscroop | 03/06/2019 |

Parked by the cemetery near Easter Shian. Walked north and picked up an unmapped track built for the Beauly/Denny power line and nearby windfarm. This made for easy progress before cutting off for the hilltop from just beyond a wall crossing. Still plenty of lying snow. | JohnW | 09/04/2018 |
creag choille, meall odhar, monadh nam mial, meall dearg far west top, meall dearg west top, creag an loch, creag nan gabhar, from parking at shian cemetery, mostly on good tracks all day. | robertphillips | 19/02/2017 |
From S, W end of L Freuchie, via M Odhar, then S to Choillie. Descended by various tracks then pasture and field edges. This pair missed previously (2/2012) as out of daylight. | RHW | 21/06/2015 |
Solo. Very late start due to heavy rain. From Griffin Forest Car Park S of Loch an Craige. Went SSW along track which had been used to transport wind turbines to Cochill Wind Farm. On coming out of forest took track S before going up hillside to summit of Meall Odhar. Here is a small cairn with an upright stone with surrounding flat stones suggestive of an ancient cairn. There is another bump nearby which could be slightly higher and which I also went to. I went S to the summit cairn of Creag Choille. Continued to Creag an Loch and Meall Dearg. | pwbellarby | 14/06/2014 |
