Parked in the walkers car park at NS310984. Along to the bridge at Doune Farm, through the gate immediately after the bridge, then up across the field to 2nd gate (NS3173 9804). Picked up an ATV track shortly before next gate (NS3157 9774) and followed the track which got better after 3rd gate (NS3145 9761), right up to the summit. Steeply up and pleasant walk down, great views north from the top.LizH16/09/2023
Knackering descent from Mid Hill then ascent up this peak. Headed east to shoulder then ascended to East Top. Little cairn, drop to Doune Hill. Company: Soloiandesbottes02/09/2023

From Luss, long road up the glen.iangalbraith08/06/2023
On the way to the main top.Owen B22/04/2023
11.4 mile circular from Glen Douglas. We headed across the bridge to Doune Farm and as others mentioned we used the field gates to the south to avoid the farmyard itself. A long and relentless pull follows up to Doune Hill East Top, then another drop and steep little pull up to Doune Hill. From here we followed the grassy trail along the easy ridge to Beinn Lochain and Beinn Eich descending to Edentaggart farm using the avoiding footpath, then we followed the very wet track into Glen Mollochan. We lost the track for a while in a boggy area but the going wasn't too bad until we re-joined the wet track, back around Doune Farm to the car. 1160m ascent. Great grassy ridges with amazing views. Not a cloud in the sky over the Highlands today and we could see for miles. Very windy though. This was the main reason we were not doing a Munro today. Saw no other walkers.DanTrig20/04/2023
Managed to arrive early enough to park at the start of the minor road up the glen. An anti-clockwise round of 4 Marilyns, 2 Simms and a sub-Simm.Minto05/02/2023
Parked in walker's car park SE of Invergroin. Across Douglas Water, then fairly direct to summit.PGCE21/09/2022
From Luss for a round of Beinn Dubh, Mid Hill, ET, Doune Hill, Beinn Lochain and Beinn Eich.rhalstead03/06/2022
Came down from Mid Hill and climbed up to Bealach an Duin. We left our packs by the lochan for a quick up-and-down to this lovely cairned summit. A revisit for a night out camping with Gavin Rees and Steve Kirk. Up to Doune Hill next.Dangerous Dave19/03/2022
A nasty early start from the Invergroin CP for a round of 4 Luss Grahams from Doune. Decent ATV track up the glen and over the river to get through tussocks and onto the W ridge of Mid Hill easy enough to top. Down good but steep, then boggy path to road and detour around Edentaggart, over Beinn Eich, traverse to Cruach an t-Sithein, then back to Doune Hill, Doune Hill E top, then the steep and sh1tey ATV track back to Doune.Gill16/03/2022
Parked in Glen Douglas at 310987 and left another car at 351934 in Glen Luss. Steady climb from Doune with Anne B. Headed to Doune Hill.bolton16/03/2022

Wet and windyOh no I forgot...18/08/2021
From the hillwalkers' CP in Glen Douglas, taking the ATV track up Doune Hill East, crossing the steep bealach to Doune Hill and going over Beinn Lochain to the shapely but inconsiderately located Cruach an t-Sidhein, before redescending and traversing to the dip in the ridge before Beinn Eich. From there I returned over Beinn Lochain, Doune Hill and Doune Hill East, passing just below the summits of the first two and following a sheep trod that contours around Doune Hill East before rejoining the ATV track and is clearly visible on descent from Doune Hill, starting from the outflow of the lochan in the bealach.Nick Down117/04/2021
Round of four Grahams from Luss on the only decent day this weekColin Crawford30/10/2020
Two passing places, 300m SE of Doune of Glen Douglas farm entrance, opposite each other in my book makes one of them a lay-by. walked round farm and yard rather than through in consideration of covid and picked up quad bike track following it more or less all the way to summit cairn. Then on to Doune Hill proper.mntainman02/08/2020
We parked at the parking area in Glen Douglas, between Doune and Tullich farms. We walked back along the road to Doune and took field gates to go around the farm. We picked up an atv track and then path that took us to the summit. We went on to Doune Hill and reascended Doune Hill East Top and followed the atv track/path to Douneand then the road to the car. From parking area at NS309987 in Glen Douglas. Solo. I found and followed a track from Doune farmhouse that goes up to the east ridge of Doune Hill East Top and then to the summit area. Continued to Doune Hill, Beinn Lochain, Cruach an t-Sìdhein and Beinn Eich. Good weather.pwbellarby29/04/2018

11th hill of 14 today on an epic horseshoe of the Luss Hills from the Alderdale B&B in Luss, climbing Cruach Dubh, Beinn Ruisg, Creag an Leinibh, Balcnock, Beinn Tharsuinn, Beinn Chaorach, Beinn a'Mhainach, Cruach an t-Sidhein, Beinn Lochain and Doune Hill descending to Bealach an Duin (a brief respite from the strong winds) before climbing up slowly to the top. I recorded 716m @ NS29687 97409. The guy I had passed on Doune Hill now was ascending this hill as I returned to the col but then profiled around Doune Hill and Beinn Lochain then on rising traverse to Beinn Eich.Dazingdale03/10/2017
