From Meall Bhalach over beautifully frozen ground. | sclater | 14/01/2024 |
Parked at Kingshouse (NN259549). An ATV Tk starts from the estate gate and commences as it means to continue - pure gloop, up the W bank of the Allt a Bhalaich, ending almost on the bealach at NN252575, from where faint FP to Meall Bhalach. Int FP to Meall a Bhalach E Top and faint FP up Meall nan Ruadhag. Descended S direct to Black Corries Lodge | Isbjorn | 12/11/2023 |
Parked at road end near Kings House. Track almost to Black Corries Lodge, then ATV. Onwards to Meall a' Phuill. | PGCE | 22/03/2023 |
Staying at Blackrock. Along track to first tree plantation, then up to the broad W. ridge. | Kompass | 06/06/2022 |
From the road behind the Kingshouse, wishing I'd taken my bike. ATV track as others from just before Black Corries, then on down the East ridge to Meall a' Phuill. 17k in all. | NormanW | 26/04/2022 |
Out and back from the Kingshouse. Rather variable ATV track starts about 150m from the Black Corries Lodge and goes pretty much to the summit ridge. Surprised to have company at the top: Estate Worker and his son repairing the Radio relay Mast which had been blown over in Storm Arwen. Fine viewpoint. | benalder284 | 17/12/2021 |
Parked on the road north of the kingshouse at NN2582 5493. Along the track towards Black Corries Lodge, then a short distance on a new track past a shed. Up over grass to the summit. Great views of higher hills all round. | LizH | 22/06/2021 |
Along the WHW from the Kingshouse and up animal tracks once passed an agricultural shed. | summitter | 05/04/2019 |

From sw, good road then sw spur; ridge has some rock exposures and a few boulders, largest of which makes an entertaining little scramble. Cairn and small antenna at summit. More direct line down, finishing with trail shoes still dry. Early start as a ferry to catch. | RHW | 02/05/2017 |
Linear walk from Kingshouse to Rannoch Station. | jimbloomer | 01/05/2017 |
Out and back from Kingshouse - fast up track then not-too-difficult bog. | Eddie | 21/03/2016 |
Used the track from kingshouse to Rannoch, left this at some cattle pens about 600m from Black Corries Lodge. soft snow, so not sure how the land lies. This hill is an amazing viewpoint. | hils | 22/01/2016 |

EKMC bus run, from Altnafeadh, Beinn a'Chrulaiste & 3 tops to E, back along Black Corries track to Kingshouse. | agentmancuso | 05/09/2010 |
A morning of rain with cloud and mist well done on the hills. By noon the weather was not quite so bad so I went to Kings House Hotel and parked nearby. I used the track towards Black Corries Lodge before leaving it for Meall nan Ruadhag using odd bits of paths. Then westwards to the summit of Meall Bhalach East Top, continuing over Meall Bhalach, Beinn A Chrulaiste. | pwbellarby | 26/04/2009 |
