Parked in a small layby about 450m E of the gate(NN610590)and track to Craiganour Lodge (from the west). Followed the track up past the lodge, and on to within 750m of the summit. Followed the line of a burn SE of the summit, on deer tracks, then on over more peaty ground to the surprising little peak that is the summit. Some lovely views over low mist, to surrounding hills. | LizH | 26/11/2023 |
Parked besides Loch Rannoch and cycled from Annat, via about 4 gates, to Duinish. ATV track helped get up and down Creag nan Gabhar and Beinn Mholach quickly. Then doubled back to climb Gualann Sheileach and Creag a' Mhadaidh in turn before turning attention to Creagan Odhar. Biked down to Craiganour Lodge and back on to road, detouring around a plantation/deer fence en route. 5.15 hrs. | summitter | 05/09/2023 |
From Craiganour Lodge up track past highest point to a post marking an ATV track. Followed ATV track to ridge then up in a direct line over easy slopes. Back down the same way to the track, then up to the Simm of Gualann Sheileach, grassy at first then over heather to little pointy summit. Back to track then down to track junction, left towards Creagan Odhar, then right turn on stalkers track to closest point on ridge. Up overCrwagan Odhar, and along impressive ridge down to Craiganour Lodge. 11 miles. | JulieB | 29/04/2023 |
From Creag a' Mhadaidh. Failry directly up from track, making use of easier angked grassy slopes. Descended SE to meet track back to Craiganour Lodge near its high point. | KeithByTheC | 29/04/2023 |

Parked near Annat for a round of 3 Simms: Gualann Sheileach, Carn Fiaclach, Meall Dubh. Traverse between 1st and 2nd eased by an ATV track (visible from Gualann Sheileach) over the shoulder of Creag a' Mhadaidh at about 500m contour, almost as far as Saunich. Then deer tracks across to, and then up beside, forest fence, later bending right to the ridge. A very enjoyable outing in dry conditions. | PGCE | 12/07/2020 |
Day 2 of a 2 day round of 9 tops north of Loch Rannoch from Durnish bothy: Creag a Mhaigaaidh(G); Gualann Shelleach(Gt);Beinn Mholeach(C) and back to tent. Shorter of the two days, had tiome to walk out but stayed put as train booked for following day. | dickscroop | 14/05/2018 |

Cycled in from Dalnaspidal... Lot of hydro work going on, new bridge has been built north of Duinish, track to highest point, short hop to top, fine viewpoint | hils | 03/06/2016 |
Climbed with Jenx from south walking the track. Like the neighbouring Graham the cairn had been completely thrown down, so rebuilt most of it. Some blocks left on the slope for the next willing visitor to bring up. | nordicstar | 20/05/2016 |
Easily done before the Marilyn. | jenx | 20/05/2016 |

Overnight backpack from Dalnaspidal. Glas Meall a'Chumhainn, Stob an Aonaich Mhoir, Glas Mheall Mor, Beinn Bhoidheach, Beinn Mholach, Gualann Sheileach, Creag a'Mhadaidh | RobertP | 01/05/2016 |
From near Aulich. Following the ascent of Creag a’Mhadaidh. The summit area of Gualann Sheileach is, as reported by RHW, a neat little heather and crowberry ridge. This is orientated roughly SSW to NNE with the cairn at the SSW end. I agree with RHW that the highest point is at the other end of the ridge – about 5 or 6m from the cairn. I continued to Creagan Odhar. | pwbellarby | 20/09/2015 |
