A unique walk? Six Simms and no other summits, 3/6 anti-clockwise from Gleneffock, parking for 3 or 4 just over the bridge. After a long traverse from Burnt Hill, where NormanW and I met Simon Winton going the other way.Minto04/03/2023

From parking at end of Glenesk road, cycled to head of loch at Glenlee, continued W/NW along track to footbridge at NO395804, W along footpath past Falls of Unich up to the edge of the gorge, then roughly N across heathery peat and intermittent tracks up to summit of Hunt Hill, descended to about same point and continued S to footbridge at Falls of Damff, crossed, then ENE up slopes to Craig Maskeldie, then back along ridge over South Top to Cairn Lick (track most of the way along ridge top) to the landrover track just S of Cairn Lick, descended on that down to Inchgrundle, Glenlee and back to the parkingkdbennett18/07/2021

Loch Lee circuit saw hares & grouse Kasi didn't chase either heard stags roaring a bit windy in some areas but mostly -shirt weather a nice circuitLizzieG14/09/2020
A pleasant walk along Loch Lee's north shore, then up Glen Lee until due north of Hunt Hill's summit. Over the Water of Lee (plenty of rocks to hop onto) and up an initially steep heathery slope before the gradient lessens and the heather becomes younger. SE to the footbridge above the Falls of Damff, then back up to reel off Craig Maskeldie, its South Top, and Cairn Lick. Still enough light in the day gave us the option of staying high to take in Wester Skuiley, Burnt Hill and finally Cairn Caidloch, the latter two linked by a helpful track. Getting dark now so we bombed down the Burn of Corriehausherun to find our way back to the car blocked by a deer fence (quickly scaled), thorn bushes, and a bridgeless river (FB at 445802 now missing - or at least unifiable in the dark) - we paddled across!summitter24/01/2020

8 Sim circuit from road-end car park. Poor visibility. With Adrian Rayner. RHW09/06/2013
SMHC Sunday walk. Loch Lee calm on the walk out. Beautiful Ice falls and water falls on the route up, but no visability on the tops due to low cloud. An excellent exercise in navigation. Kareen, Sarah, Alistair, Roger, Peter, John, Alan & GrahamLizzieG17/03/2013

On a Ballater-Glen Markie-Glen Doll- Braemar- Loch Avon- Aviemore walking tour. Second day, lowering cloud base all day. From the approach to this top there were glimpses of Lochnagar, and the terrain to the path over Muckle Cairn to start- then compass work.pwheeler13/06/1999
