Loch Lee circuit saw hares & grouse Kasi didn't chase either heard stags roaring a bit windy in some areas but mostly -shirt weather a nice circuit Loved the nearby cairn & shelterLizzieG14/09/2020
A pleasant walk along Loch Lee's north shore, then up Glen Lee until due north of Hunt Hill's summit. Over the Water of Lee (plenty of rocks to hop onto) and up an initially steep heathery slope before the gradient lessens and the heather becomes younger. SE to the footbridge above the Falls of Damff, then back up to reel off Craig Maskeldie, its South Top, and Cairn Lick. Still enough light in the day gave us the option of staying high to take in Wester Skuiley, Burnt Hill and finally Cairn Caidloch, the latter two linked by a helpful track. Getting dark now so we bombed down the Burn of Corriehausherun to find our way back to the car blocked by a deer fence (quickly scaled), thorn bushes, and a bridgeless river (FB at 445802 now missing - or at least unifiable in the dark) - we paddled across!summitter24/01/2020

From car park at top of Glen Esk. Walked back along road then up track from Gleneffock farm.Lindsay M25/03/2018
Solo. From Invermark car park near the end of the public road in Glen Esk. A circuit along the NW side of Loch Lee, past Inchgrundle to Burnt Hill, Cairn Caidloch and Gleneffock. OS 1:25,000 map shows route as a track (apart from the road bits) but with a gap from NO407785 to NO409783. OS 1:50,000 map shows route as a path rather than a track with no gap. I did find a sort of path along the line shown as a path on this map. There is a small cairn at highest point of Cairn Caidloch, which is south of the trig point, but on the north side of the track. OS 1:25,000 map shows spot height on the other side of the track. A fine Autumn afternoon.pwbellarby29/10/2016

A pleasant walk at last in late sun though still cold. Small cairn on summit well south of trig point. Good walk down on track and rather weirdly got back to the car before dark.alda03/06/2015
