Parking area N of Balachroick. Followed paths to col, then NW to summit. Soft snow underfoot, high winds on summit. With Lisa and Daniel. | CJM | 26/01/2024 |
Good paths from car parking at 852012. Summit in cloud. Met another walker, Ian from Aberfeldy. On to Carn Ban Mor West Top from Achlean for the second half of my short day. | NormanW | 11/11/2023 |
Up from Achlean car park, right up track, left up path and to the top from the bealach | Trantham Clan | 24/05/2023 |
Good parking N of Balachroick, taking path E and then up NNE to beallach below Creag Mhigeachaidh. Returned to the main path then down, up, and around to Creag Ghiuthsachan. | Minto | 12/02/2023 |
7 of 7: From Geal-charn. Descended north and crossed Allt nan Cuileach to find the path which crosses back and joins a track down to the west side of the F/B. With Karen. | ChrisR | 08/05/2022 |
Parked N of Balachroick, taking path E and then up NNE to beallach below Creag Mhigeachaidh. Climbed Creag Mhigeachaidh, return to beallach and then Geal-charn, Meall Buidhe, and steady climb to Sgoran Dubh Mor. Pleasant high level traverse to Sgor Gaoith, with excellent views. Then Carn Ban Mor, Tom Dubh and out and back to Carn na Criche. Then Meall Dubhag, a slightly misjudged traverse to reach Carn Ban Mor West Top, Carn Ban Beag, descent to track running below W side of Creag Ghiuthsachan and return to start. Hot dry conditons. | RobertP | 15/07/2021 |

ACW round of carn ban mor west top, meall dubhag, tom dubh, carn ban mor, sqor gaoith, sqoran dubh mor, meall buidhe, geal charn, creag mhigeachaidh, from cp 1 km north of auchlean. | robertphillips | 26/09/2016 |
See Creag Dhubh. Path down into woods to north easy to locate and follow unlike the upward route. It would be hard to find this from end of cyclable track in woods if ascending this way | dickscroop | 11/10/2014 |
Good parking N of Balchroick. After Ghiuthsachan - but crossing of Allt Ruadh is fairly brutal with deep heather and deepish burn. Nice descent of SW ridge then more deep heather to regain good track. | RHW | 02/05/2014 |
AS. Achlean to Carn Ban Mor, Sgor Gaoith, Sgoran Dubh Mor, Meall Buidhe, Geal Charn, Creag Mhigeachaidh, Balachroick & Achlean. Fine wintery day with strong N winds. | Vin | 10/10/2013 |
