Parking in big bay with black bollards (NN295975). SW over bridge to next tk S, up this SE, then zig zags up to hairpin at NN301959. Steep gravel tk leaves hairpin SW to treeline, then degrades into faint ATV up to deer fence at circa 550m contour – 2 x hurdles enable negotiation. Then easy to Leacann Doire Bainneir – the two tops are surprisingly prominent. E to fence, followed SE to bealach, left it L for Meall a Chobhlain. Magnificent view of freezing fog all the time above 400m. Much faster return same way – just followed my own tx in the thickly rime coated veg.Isbjorn12/01/2024
