Surprisingly good weather compared to what had gone before meant a very pleasant round of 9 tops and much less boggy and peat haggy than I had expected. Biked in from Slochd hostel then Sgumain Mor: Carn na Guaille; Carn nan Luibean; Carn Coire nan-eirghe; Carn Bad an Daimh; Carn Leachter Beag; Carn Dubh Ic an Deoir; Carn Coire na Caorach; Carn Phris Mor. | dickscroop | 18/10/2017 |
Second GTC of the day, after walking the bike over the ridge between two roads. The ascent from the eastern road end was easy due to recent dry weather, there is a lot of bog here. The electric fence is now looking worse for wear and is easy to cross. | fasgadh | 09/10/2016 |
