Glas Tulaichean - Carn an Righ - GT north top (pt. 858). From Dalmunzie, via Glen Lochsie's scenic and easy track and railway bed. Tougher going to Carn an Righ, a lovely view of Loch nan Run from pt. 858, then a descent over grass to the path in Glen Taitneach that becomes a track. The footbridge has not been replaced, so getting back to Dalmunzie means cold feet or wet boots.Nick Down110/09/2016

Cycled in from Spittal along Gleann Taitneach and walked up Beinn Lutharn Mhor and Carn an Righ. Perfect sunshine and no wind for much of day (almost too hot with 20C on summits!) A pleasant cooling fog arrived late afternoon...jonbowyer13/07/2013
With friend. After ascending Glas Tulaichean and Glas Tulaichean North Top. From summit of latter returned to col with Glas Tulaichean and followed a path going round a rather boggy area on the north side to join the path to Carn an Righ. Surprised to find two paths heading towards the col between Carn an Righ and Màm nan Carn although they joined together before the col. From col followed obvious path to summikt of Carn an Righ. Continued to Beinn Iutharn Mhòr.pwbellarby29/06/2013

FINAL MUNRO- From Glas Tulaichean went N to pt.930 then down to reach path, then west. The ascent of Carn an Righ from the col was much easier than its rubble/scree appearance from a distance suggested- the view to the Cairngorms along Lairig Ghru from the summit cairn (duly kissed) was a fitting finale. Return using deer paths contouring high above Glas Coire Bheag's bogs and on a path worn by the burn in Gleann Taitneach (quite rough, very pretty, lots of good flowers and moths) and the celebratory pint in the hotel's beautiful bar completed a happy day and compleated a 31-year quest.pwheeler30/06/2012

after a long solo cycle ride in on the tarmacced road from the south to Felar Lodge at 11.35 about square 0075 I hoof east across the valley floor. Generally glorious weather with four brief squalls on way across valley and up. Up the south east ridge and very windy on top. Just before the summit ridge another three minute squall hits. Soon been and gone and leaving the summit quartzite rocks glistening and sparkling happily in the returned bright sunshine. Marmite and peanut butter sanwiches and Warburtons summer fruit loaf A very gloriously memorable hike over this very remote mountain. My mountain log sounds like a bingo caller, all the twos, Munro no. 222vegibagger24/08/2005

Solo. From Spittal of Glenshee up Gleann Taitneach to Beinn Iutharn Bheag, Màm nan Carn and Beinn Iutharn Mhòr. From Beinn Iutharn Mhòr I retraced my steps to the col with Màm nan Carn and then contoured round the slopes of Màm nan Carn to reach the col with Carn an Righ. Hence to summit of Carn an Righ. Went back to the col and followed as best possible a stalker’s path going ENE. I cut across to Glen Choire Bheag to join the outward route. Moonlight helped in the evening when a head torch was not found necessary.pwbellarby30/03/1996
