Last top on the traverse of Beinn Dearg, easy enough ascent on grass and rock. Descent was interesting, back to the col then down to the south with very steep and uncertain run out. It went though and I found a useful, steep but relatively safe grassy gully running down through the crags. | Colin Crawford | 22/06/2023 |
East to west. As Erik B says, why descend the hardest bits? | Pete R | 08/09/2022 |
All three Beinn Dearg tops. Headed up to ridge too early and it was a real struggle and not very safe in places. Should have persevered to west ridge but I forgot what the guidebook had said and spotted my own poor line. After that the ridge was as was the decent directly south from the final top. All in all a very good mountain,. I may go back another day and get th ascent line right. | dickscroop | 13/09/2021 |

From the Far E Top. Steep descent over rough ground to pick up the Abhainn Coire Mhic Nobuil track. | jonglew | 15/09/2018 |
Climbed as part of East to West traverse of Beinn Dearg. E to w makes more sense, not sure why you would want to descend the tricky scrambling bits? | Erik B | 30/04/2018 |
End of Ben Dearg traverse. Very satisfying to look back! Descent tricky but lovely walk back to car park. | MichaelF | 17/07/2017 |
