From south west, limited parking near gates where power cables cross. Up east short grass ridge following the wooded copse still looking a little sad and battered from Storm Ciara few years back. 2/3 | N.Morters | 04/02/2023 |
As NormanW. Given the state of the wiring I very much doubt the electric fence is operating. | Minto | 28/02/2022 |
Parked under the pylons and across fields on to pleasant ridge leading to summit in wooded area. | NormanW | 28/02/2022 |
Weather fair. | MountainMac | 09/04/2021 |
Parked on the verge under the power lines. Through gate close by, across grass to track and followed for a short distance. Up over grass to a gate near the end of the first wood (NO49231 64154), along into the copse of lovely old larch trees (now on the correct side of the electric fence), through another gate at a fence junction and to the summit. Returned along a track down the west shoulder. | LizH | 11/10/2020 |
From the west, safe parking near power line then up onto grassy track then open grass to summit. Beware, summit copse is defended by electric fence. Back down the west ridge, good ground but found no safe parking at road HP. | Topographer57 | 19/07/2020 |
Grassy track from the west parked in the small bay. | robertphillips | 18/03/2020 |
