dropped of at achnahanne and had a great day 3 hills bagged but maybe a hill to far at the end with the heat playing a factor here totally shattered at the end of this creag laith cam sgriob and creag ealraich before coming down and picking up my lift tiring but fantastic | mikebeattie | 07/06/2023 |
Up from Grantown via the Dava Way with the Freckles. Via Cameroy and the Old Military Rd. Back to Grantown via Dreggie on the landrover track. | ragudave | 28/08/2022 |
2 of 3 and by far the best of the three. Having left Creag Bheithe Mhor behind, the trudge across to Creah Liath was heathery, boggy and wet with the added joy of a deer fence to cross. There is a sort of stile where 4 fences meet. Once on top of the craggy grey hill, the views were expansive in all directions. There is a proper summit rock and a secret howff just below the top on its S side. Ben Rhinnes in particular looked good in its winter raiment. With Nozzer. | BigJ | 10/12/2021 |

From Carn Sgriob. Route helped substantially by an estate/forestry track almost to the top. | Campbell Singer | 26/09/2021 |
Walked along moor from Creag Bheithe mhor | 187lenny | 28/06/2020 |
From Camerory, then track, then vague path through woods, and finally a bit of a trudge through boggy moor. | willyross | 09/10/2019 |
2of3: From Cam Luig. | ChrisR | 24/01/2019 |
Up from track end, old line through woodland. Stiff new deer fence crossable without difficulty. Fine viewpoint w Jenx and Bryher | nordicstar | 26/01/2018 |
Parked in a small space at the end of the road to Camerory. Then I took the forestry track a short distance before taking a faint left fork that took me to gate onto the open hillside. After climbing the deer fence it was a straightforward walk to the summit. For a hill so close to Granton it has a very remote feel to it with big views over the moors. | Peterb | 25/10/2017 |
New tree planting between the 2 HuMPs | chalky1953 | 21/06/2017 |
Parked at end of road at Camerory. Took path through woods to reach open hillside. Walked SW at first to cross deer fence. Then up to top at least two good contenders. Returned via Coire Buidhe and the Old Military Road. Fantastic evening walk in total sunshine. | garyhoney | 18/06/2016 |
With garyhoney from road at Camerory. | wozzat | 18/06/2016 |
From E, Camerory, round N edge of forest. Deer fence down to R, 15m below, which we used on return. Summit outcrop and another contender 250m to SE. Decent view in patchy weather. With Michael Coates | RHW | 26/03/2016 |
from camerory up track then though woods then open ground to the top. | robertphillips | 31/10/2015 |
from the road end where there is plenty of room. round the edge of the forest, then messy forest fences/felling to get to the top. Disappointing hill | Thearlaichdubh | 06/05/2015 |
Ascended through the wood from Camerory on to a heathery top. | JohnW | 20/04/2012 |
