if taking on this hill there is a gap in the deer fence at grid NH 65012 3325mikebeattie09/04/2024
From a short track to east fiercely defended by barbed wirevegibagger28/02/2024
Good parking to the N, just S of the track to Loch Duntelchaig. Followed the track to NH65143 33921, where an old track goes in to two small fenced off areas. Easily up through the wood from there to the deer fence, then over heather to the summit trig point. Also visited the cairn to the ENE, but probably lower.LizH22/08/2022

From the NE. Followed TJR's directions. From the fence hole a deer track climbs south to meet an old fence which leads to the top. Excellent views. Dead calm so LOTS of flies. Final hill of Section 9B. Sea Bass and Chablis tonight to celebrate. With Karen.ChrisR27/06/2021

From north. Good parking by end of marked trail (to Loch Duntelchaig). First left fork then easily through woods but nobody mentioned the deer fence guarding the summit area!Tony S01/01/2019
There is a cairn to the east but the trig still appears higher.hill walker25/02/2018

Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: Parked at NH 65431 34130. From there, followed the track along to NH 65053 33829 and headed south along the boggy smaller track which has a few fallen trees to negotiate. I found a gap in the 6ft fence at NH 65070 33419, then it's onwards and upwards on a SE bearing. The last section up the hill is quite steep, and needs care as there are numerous places to roll an ankle. The trig is in good condition, with the cap missing and some initials scratched into the spider's metalwork. On they way back I tried to be clever and head direct to the car but I failed to find another gap in the fence and after numerous attempts to climb the fence gave up and had to think out of the box to retrieve the rucksack and coat (with iphone in pocket) from the other side of the fence as I'd thrown them over without a care in the world just out of reach. After some time we were all reunited and I returned in the direction I came.thejackrustles17/04/2015
