With Eve. Third summit of the day. Most Western summit on the Mounth gave wide views from Glen Shee peaks in the South to the granite behemoths of the Cairngorms to the North. Our route over the plateau and over the next two munros was clear from this point.RufusHodge26/05/2023

Parked at the Spittal of Glenmuick (£5 cash/card in machine). Took the track on the N side of loch and up to above the Falls of the Glasallt from where a stalkers path goes up the SE ridge to Creag a Ghlas-uillt. From there the walk around the top of Allt an Dubh-loch valley opens up - Eagles Rock, Carn a'Choire Bhoidheach, Carn an t-Sagairt Beag, Carn an t-Sagairt Mor, Fafernie, Cairn Bannoch, Cairn of Gowal, Creag an Dubh-loch, Broad Cairn - and follows the track back down on the S side of Loch Muick. Long day with a cold wind but wonderful views. With Gillian, Tony, Richard and Denise, although R&D split off at times with different peak objectives, meeting up again finally below Broad Cairn.richard6918/04/2023
With Chattos in low cloud, soft snow, no views from Cairn Bannoch. Summit area has levelish short grass, after small rock band. Derek cheered up after he found aircraft wreckage on descent path. Descended on excellent stalkers' path to the Auchallater Lodge Bothy at NW end of Loch Callater- where met Walkers and Gordons- and descended Glen Callater track ( Jock's path) to car.Denise 17/04/2023

With Nicky Creadland and Skye (her dog), we cycled up Glen Callater to the lodge. Then hiked up onto Carn an t-Sagairt Mor, my 182nd Munro, then north past some aircraft wreckage to Carn an t-Sagairt Beag, Munro Top. And clockwise around to Carn a' Choire Bhoidheach, we had a look over the north corries below The Stuc. Then contoured around the northwest slopes of the previous two hills, to rejoin the outward route. Now only 99 Munros left to go....chillyman808/10/2022

With Pete- his 100th Munro. From Carn a'Choire Bhoidheach, in and out of cloud, but dry. A stalkers' path made its SE slopes practical as a way up, so next we went over Carn an t-Sagairt Beag. Before the col we encountered spectacular wreckage of a jet fighter, so recent it made us feel uneasy. After Carn an t-Sagairt Beag we went down Smugglers Shank to return to Invercauld Bridge. Locals told us that Charles and Camilla were having secret liaisons (nb- 1997) in a hut in the woods near these paths; literally shacking up!pwheeler19/06/1997

Cairngorm Club bus meet. Solo. From Auchallater via Creag an Loch. The larger of two cairns, which is at a point where the fence posts take a sharp turn, is not the highest point of Carn an t-Sagairt Mòr. The highest point has a smaller cairn, and is a little to the south of the larger cairn. The views were excellent and the sky blue. Keen wind blowing spin drift. Crampons were used for most of the ascent and all of the descent. Descended towards Loch Callater and walked on its frozen surface to the Lodge and back to Auchallater.pwbellarby25/02/1996

Solo round of the White Mounth Munros & tops from Spittal Of Glenmuick on a partly cloudy day. Meikle Pap, Cuidhe Crom, Cac Carn Mor & Beag & then easy walking over Creag a'Ghlas-uillt, Eagles Rock, Carn a'Choire Bhoidheach, Carn an t-Sagairt Beag & Mor. Turned for inward stretch bagging the remaining Munros & most of the tops. Dropped down to the loch using the track. Alone. From Spittal of Glenmuick I walked via Glas-allt-Shiel and then up the ESE ridge of Creag a’ Ghlas-uillt (using a path which is a continuation of one skirting under Little Pap) to this summit. I went on to Top of Eagle’s Rock, Carn a’ Choire Bhoidheach, Carn an t- Sagairt Beag, Carn an t-Sagairt Mòr, Cairn Bannoch, Cairn of Gowal, Broad Cairn followed by descent to Dubh Loch and Spittal of Glen Muick. It was clear with no rain. There were good views of Creag an Dubh-loch, Loch Kander and long distance. Many dear and ptarmigan were seen.pwbellarby31/07/1983

Cairngorm Club meet with Jonathan Bellarby, David Moseley. From Auchallater. Along the track to Auchallater Lodge, then via path and line of fence posts to Carn an t-Sagairt Mór. There are two cairns - the second and smaller seems to be marginally at the highest point. We then went straight to Fafernie. There are two small cairns, the second of which seems to be at a higher point. We continued to Cairn Bannoch, Cairn of Gowal, Craig of Gowal, Creag an Dubh-loch, and Broad Cairn to Spittal of Glenmuick. Bright with clear weather all day. There was some mist seen on Carn an Tuirc etc but it did not reach us. There were snow patches and it was icy on the ground.pwbellarby25/10/1981
