Parked at 316876 at 6am and watched the leking Black Grouse on the other side of River Muick. Biked in Glas Allt Shiel and walked around the head of the mirror smooth Loch Muick. The good path on the south of Corrie Chash quickly got me to the windless sunny summit rocks.mindlessflogger23/05/2016

With friend. From Spittal of Glenmuick on bikes to Glas-allt-Shiel. Objective: all Munro tops of Broad Cairn and Cairn Bannoch. No stalking today. Up the stalkersí path to Corrie Chash. We had lunch at bothy. We continued up the track which becomes more of a path towards Broad Cairn and reached the summit of Broad Cairn. We aimed for the col between Cairn of Gowal and Craig of Gowal. There was something of a ramp leading up to the col. We reached the summit of Craig of Gowal. The highest point (927m) is at the NW end of the summit ridge, which is broad with a slight rise on it. We saw that there was a cairn at the other end of the ridge so we walked to it in case it was higher, but that did not seem to be the case. I also went to another point near the cairn as this might have been higher. We wanted to be sure that we did indeed reach the summits of the various tops. Continued to Crow Craigies, Fafernie, Cairn Bannoch, Cairn of Gowal, Creag an Dubh-loch.pwbellarby06/09/2013
