Revisit. From Elphin, track to river with sturdy footbridge shown on OSM but not OS, tussocky beyond at least for first couple of hills, plenty divers overhead. From Mhadaidh, steep tussocky trench to cross to NE side, to Braclaich and Mhuthaich, path, easy paddle to climb #9441, revisited Hump then down ridge to join path and back along road to Elphin, failing to find any of the OS BMs en route. | RHW | 20/04/2019 |
From the tump to the N, boggy tussocky terrain with quartzite cairn in overwhelming wet greyness and deer baying. Parked at layby to N of Loch Awe. | Denise | 13/10/2018 |
Direct line from 'Bhuidhe' peaty in places. Summit topped by medium cairn of quartzite rocks. Large herd of deer (~50) to SW - now hopeful of making it to the end of the season. Rain, wet, grey views. | RichardM | 13/10/2018 |
Took the Lochinver path from the A837, to a gate, up from there, easy enough terrain. | hils | 07/09/2018 |
Detour on way back from Canisp to Loch Awe parking spot. Slow peaty terrain after the rocky highway on the Corbett. | Smudge | 16/04/2015 |
From the 'Lochinver 19km' path sign S of hill. | jimbloomer | 11/04/2015 |
compact summit, stormy day, good to avoid big hills. from S, old quarry, path goes E of bump, past Cam Loch then pathless, OK terrain | RHW | 29/05/2011 |
Brilliant view point on a late sunny afternoon from A835 via footpath until you are thro' gate in deer fence then easy hill ascent. | Dugswell2 | 07/06/2010 |
