parked up 24th, down at the end of the road NG 165 440 just under cloud that's only 100m above the ocean. Start off for the Hoe a bit gloomy and wondering where this beautiful weather that the car radio is telling me about down south. As I get up on the the plateau very quickly it burns off and is gone leaving a beautiful sunny blue sky. What a glorious transformation. Chat to a German couple who are wandering by a stream on my way back to the car. Mood immediately feeling relieved that the 40 hour ,buried in mist, ordeal is over. Drive out back to civilisation at Glendale and spend a few hours, (rather too many hours considering the glory of the walking weather), in the Lephin cafe with a soup and pots of tea and their wifi.vegibagger25/05/2017
Small grassy knoll on flat dull summit - but coastline superb as JB says RHW18/07/2012
The ascent from Ramasaig should incorporate the truly inspirational, 5* coastline from Ramasaig Bay, Hoe Rape and Gob na Hoe. The summit itself is the day's 'lowpoint'- makes you question why you're a hill-bagger. View Knoydart/Moidart/Eigg/Rum/Coll/Uists/Clisham. With hindsight I would have started 1km N of Ramasaig (road summit) and included Ramasaig Cliff.jimbloomer17/06/2012
