Storm Malik blowing a hoolie. Ascend from plantation access gate and up over two deer fences and through old felled trees, although not too much of it. Up the slopes to find the memorial cross for the Hawker Hunter that crashed into the crag in 1980 whilst lost in low cloud. Views in all direction from the summit exceptional. | Matt2901 | 29/01/2022 |
Parked on the verge at NG55471 17941. Up the road and took a short part of the track to Strathaird House, then over grass to a gate at NG55521 18359. Sheep tracks from the gate much of the way up. Pleasant walk and good views. | LizH | 21/09/2021 |

Beautiful evening walk up this, from the SE, my second last Skye HuMP summit and my 255th Skye TuMP. Fabulous silhouette of the Blaven/Clach Ghlas ridge and pyramidal Beinn na Cro and the gorgeous pick scree covered hills that will always have a place in my heart as my dad's last big mountain walk with me over Beinn ma Caillich and Beinn Dearg Mhor on 28/11/97 Skye TuMP no. 255 | vegibagger | 17/07/2017 |
With Mora, from the Blaven car park. | BLACKHILL | 04/11/2013 |
Well defended on the east by a plantation - the problem not being the upright trees, rather the fallen ones. Better to bypass the trees at either end and then get on the ridgd from behind. | Martin R | 11/09/2013 |
