Parking for a few cars at foot of forest track 500m west of Tulloch. Followed forest track to end then forest edge (less swampy), then fairly directly to summit. Great viewpoint on a clear November day. | willyross | 11/11/2023 |

From road end at Tulloch up forest track. Then across wet ground following tree edge. Up grassy hillside to bealach (feint ATV track some of the way but didn't manage to follow it the whole way up). Knobbly, lumpy, bumpy ground across to the The Stob summit knobble. Then back to bealach and over to Stob Caol before returning by outward route. | Fife Walking | 20/08/2023 |

Parked at the start of the track west of Tulloch. Forestry track, then north along the stream and then up the steep grassy slope to a point 800m due east of the summit. Then fairly easily and directly due west to the summit. Retraced steps. Mild, light wind, no snow, cloud base just above the summit and hazy air so disappointing views. With PJ, TH, AM. | Owen B | 13/02/2023 |
From Stob Caol with Dangerous Dave and then a return to the col and ATV track NE to the gate on the north edge of the forest. Back to the start west of Tulloch. | bolton | 08/01/2023 |
Pleasant grassy ridge walk from Stob Caol. Back to Bealach an t-Sneachda. Descended on ATV track down grass slopes to the forest drive. Pleasant walk down through the forest to the van. With bolton. | Dangerous Dave | 08/01/2023 |

Up track through forestry W of Tulloch Farm to gate, then followed edge of forest NW & later fence (intermittent in places) as it wound it's way to the summit, which in thick mist and drizzle was very helpful! | MichaelF | 27/10/2022 |
From the good parking place W of Tulloch, up the forestry track. There is indeed a small swamp at the hill gate but you can dodge it quite easily. Rain and fog forecast; complex navigation, zillions of bearings by shortest routes, which I could not be arsed with, so I went more or less N from the gate following the main stream, then a rib between the 2 streams to pick up an ATV track at the wide bealach which leads to the old fence below the steepening ground. Then I simply followed the fence, an unerring guide in poor visibility even if it wanders around a bit. Mist cleared at the summit, hurrah, and then I could see that the fence route is really rather sensible, despite the meandering. Section 1 Marilyns complete and absolutely ALL of the Marilyns in forestry. I am celebrating. | Gill | 11/10/2022 |

Track just past Tulloch to end of forestry and then along fence to left, then left to bealach. North to old fence and followed to top. East from summit and followed other fence to head of pass, then down to forest track. Misty on top . | Flatfield | 11/09/2022 |
Time includes cycling up/down to top of forestry from P just W of Tulloch farm. Walking section = 1h 38m. Lots of cumulus cloud, some blue sky, not much direct sun. Walked up via Coire an Sneachda and back. Freewheeled back to van in 12m. | Rounsfell | 28/08/2022 |

Route ascending via Monachyle Glen, walking along track for a little over 3km, then steep ascent up forest ride to reach edge of forest and deepening snow. Very steep ascent through soft snow roughly ESE then ENE on less steep terrain to reach summit of the Stob. Continued to Stob Caol and along the ridge to descend quite steeply SW following line of stream then through woodland to the road. Clouds started below summits but gradually clearing through the day. | RobertP | 09/12/2021 |

Parked at end of forest track by Loch Voil (NN514205), then up track to deer fence and gate (severely churned by cattle) at NN501225, followed forest edge NNW to a stream junction (also churned), then followed faint ATV tracks SW up slope to Bealach an t-Sneachda, followed lumpy ridge N to rocky summit of The Stob, returned S, crossed the bealach and continued to summit of Stob Caol, descended NNE (on steep slope under some crags) to rejoin the ATV tracks and then rest of return as on ascent (3.5hr) | kdbennett | 30/10/2021 |
Up gorge on forestry track. Reached the top gate leading to the hill ground - start of the quagmire! Mud, cow manure, streams! Cut across to fence corner beside trees and the followed quad track up until cutting off for last steep section. Walk along the top very pleasant. Wind and rain on arrival. Lovely hill though and great views. Completed with Gmac | elizyanne | 11/10/2021 |

From the forest track starting at a nice parking spot 500m west of Tulloch. Once out the other end and through the cows and their swampy home it's an easy enough ascent NW to The Stob. Along the broad ridge to Stob Caol, then to the more mired Creag nan Speireag. We decided to descend along the SE flank, which is pretty straight forward if you avoid the steepest crags. Once into the bracken zone we could follow cow-trampled paths all the way to Craigruie Farm, then a pleasant lochside stroll along the road back to the car. Just under 3 hours. | summitter | 17/10/2020 |
