Parking at GR 227161 at track gate east of hill. Popular with dog walkers, up the track/path till under pylons then up over the forest break via vague path. Summit trig not far, and met a much better path coming from the south (maybe from the track after it curls round the hill). 2/3 HuMP | N.Morters | 16/10/2020 |
Circular walk from Newburgh taking in Ormiston Hill, Lumbennie Hill and Black Hill. Good track to within 300 yards of summit - the last bit is rough. Not much of a view from this one. | benalder284 | 20/06/2020 |
From track end south of Lochmill, along to pylons and up though long grass and remains of fallen trees to the trig point. Returned under the more westerly line of pylons, which was slightly easier. | LizH | 24/11/2019 |
From disused quarry to E along track then beating the brash. Earnt the drop by cycling from Blairgowerie and on to Ladybank. | Eddie | 29/08/2017 |

Lovely start to the day up a good track. Only the last 200 or so metres is tough. Headed up the pylons on the right but came back via the ones on the left, much easier route. | thejackrustles | 06/02/2017 |
After Black Hill Parking at end of track to E. Follow track along and easy ascent up the pylon lane. Trig dominated by the pylon. Misty Then Ormiston | Thearlaichdubh | 28/03/2016 |
