With Yeltzbagger and Ketzster from the school. No views and the top is a quagmire with nasty fences. The curlews and lapwings lower down made it special.Stevie n Tay19/03/2023

From the Glen Lethnot road by Auchowrie, cutting up a grassy slope to join the zigzag track up East Craig beyond the farm, keeping just below the shoulder of Hill of Wirren to outflank its peat hag embankment, then taking ridge top tracks to Craigangower and a steep up and down through heather to Bulg. Back the same way, taking the westerly track to the top of East Craig. The best of walk was after Hill of Wirren: a fine ridge walk with a cloud inversion lapping its eastern side and a remote and distinct hill topped with the remains of a large ancient cairn at Bulg.Nick Down114/01/2022
Up and down the road from Lethnot Primary School, Bridgend [now closed].Pete R02/01/2022
Park at NO534786. The notice at the track entrance regarding the bridge being closed should not put off walkers. Smile you are on candid camera… Plenty of well developed tracks to choose to the summit.BaggerGutt06/11/2021

13 mile circular from minor road north of Dalbog. Followed track through woods near river then ascended track to Shanno Castle from the north (Not marked on map). From here there are plenty of grouse shooting tracks taking you up to the Red Craig ridge and onto Bulg. Then pathless steep terrain onto Craigangower and a good track over Hill of Wirren across dry bogs to summit then along ridge via East Wirren trig to The Crannel. We descended back to car. Nobody else about. High cloud with good views south. 859m ascent altogether.DanTrig12/09/2021

From Bridgend school - Shank of Ledmanie. Back via East Wirren and Craig Narb. It was shoes off for the crossing of the Burn of Drumcairn as there was no bridge just s ford.garyhoney23/08/2021

From Bridgend school on tracks via Dikehead Cottage and Shank of Ledmanie. Back via East Wirren.Winterfloodian25/08/2019
From Lethnot PS up to new lodge then old track along ridge until new scar arrives from right. Took right branch at fork (mistake) then through hags (but still found a bit of the Liberator). Tricky fence crossing at summit due to bog either side. Back by East Wirren and track.SS30/07/2019
Bridgend, up road and track to Dikehead, on up track to top of Rigg of Ledmanie, then contour NNE to fence and then NE to summit. Descend SE to track over to East Wirren, down track below Torr na Menach back to Dikehead. Examined a few of the scary looking manikins, when you get close you almost expect them to move! Too many horror movies maybe?Flatfield19/07/2019

On TGO Challenge. Traverse of the hill. Approached from the north. Lots of the bridges shown are either no longer there or unsafe. We used the one at NO 534 782. Followed tracks virtually to the summit trig and surrounding bog. Descended west to Edzell. Lots of new tracks not shown on the map. Strange mannequins all over the hills. Would frighten you to death if you walked up to one in mist! Also gas powered bird scarers which kept loudly going bang, bang like a double action shotgun.geralddavison22/05/2019
