Circular route from roadside parking NX611622. Took rad and track towards Grobdale of Girthon, then fairly direct climb to Ewe Hill. Continued along ridge to Laughenghie Hill (visiting the various summit contenders), descent NE over increasingly rough ground, crossed stream and climb to Airie Hill (also visiting the cairn). Descent S to climb Clack Hill, on to Loch Hill and to road via track from Grobdale of Balmaghie. Followed road SW from about 1km then headed SSW to climb Fell of Laghead, on to Craigtype and Benfadyeon. Returned via path to Laghead Bridge and road to start point. Some sunshine, some rain, fairly breezy.RobertP02/07/2023
Parked trackside just beyond the quarry (NX 6342 6477). Hoped to use the breaks but they are very hit and miss... mostly miss. My route has nothing to recommended it. With hindsight would have looked for a different way to attack this one. Quite a nice little top when I got there.jonglew12/02/2021
A 7 tump round from the laurieston forest CP kenick hill, tormollan hill, slogarrie hill, clack hill, loch hill, black hill, craigelwhan, mixture of tracks, tree bashing, and tussocks.robertphillips03/01/2021
After Clach Hill. With Dazingdale.Adrian16/03/2019
6th and final Tump of the day from Laurieston Forest car park with Adrian, climbing Kenick, Tormollan (my 4th found tump) Slogarie Hill, Airie and Clack (to be 1st completer of Gatehouse (Fleet) catchment) then fairly long traverse to this knoll with great views of rocky Craig of Grobdale and the Marilyn, White Hill of Culreoch. We followed the fenceline down to the road, with a tricky burn crossing before walking back to the car park. Greàt outing!Dazingdale16/03/2019
