Parked to SW on roadside verge at 131m spot height (NX 3002 6410). Circumvented Bennylow to its N side, although looked a nice hill to summit. Ground quite rough and 1 stone wall to negotiate. Returned to car and then on to Barskeoch Fell.jonglew25/08/2021

Parked at the high point in the road to the SW. Across rough grass and heather towards the hill, picking up a vehicle track through the grass closer to the hill and going up from NX 31021 64889, where the bracken was widely spaced, grass short and no heather. Good summit.LizH19/07/2020

6th hill of 8 today on a challenging route from Glenrazie (on B7027) to Kirkcowan, climbing Glenvogie Fell, Garmill, Glassoch Fell, Urrall Fell and Kiln Hill, descending South over easy ground to climb fence to gain track heading Sw veering off, a bit too soon over electric fence and rough ground to reach TRig and then Cairn. Descent Sw over rough ground to intersection of walls and boggy ground to reach cattle grid on minor road then North en-route to Fell Hill.Dazingdale02/08/2017
