1/4 Black Meldon from the Toilet Block, back down and then White Meldon, Hamilton Hill and South Head Hill as a nice circuit on other side of the road. A pretty Glen lots of campers and a lot of rubbish unfortunately people not bothering to tidy up.nickywood104/09/2023
From grass parking 100 yards S of old toilet block. Easy paths up both White and Black Meldon, although the stile with barbed wire giving access to the bracken forest on Black Meldon requires care. On to the West Top of Black Meldon, with a small cairn near its summit. EnjoyableNick Down118/06/2023

Good parking at the old toilet block (NT 2124 4286). Nice grassy track leads directly to the top. On to Hamildean Hill via a couple of sub-tumps (Black Meldon N Top and Hamildean Fort), then on to Wide Hope Shank via 2 more sub-tumps (Hamildean Hill N top and Stevenson Hill), and finally Crailzie Hill.jonglew04/03/2023

Round of Crailzie, WHS, Hamildean and Black Meldon from Meldon CP. Followed the marked tracks past Harehope Rings and on to the ridge. Found 7 BMs on the round. There is a new fence on the back slopes of the Black Meldon which needed surmounting. Great views of Lyne and the White Meldon.BigJ06/06/2022
