From the track to the west until gate exits on to fields. Then across to low bwf and high deer fence to top. | NormanW | 05/01/2022 |
Via Hillridge Farm, easy and scenic walking. Heavy cloud over the mountains to the south whilst I experienced sunshine for the first time in twelve days vindicated my decision to climb lower hills today. | Wycombe Wanderer | 28/12/2021 |
Quick nip up from the W before lunch in Biggar. Parked at track start (NS 9968 3861), but all the dog walkers were parking 350m up the track at forest gate. Good forest road until exiting forest then pleasant cropped pasture till the deet fence. Nipped across to a nicer looking SE Top despite time being tight. | jonglew | 20/12/2021 |
Awkward deer fence as below. | ARM | 25/10/2021 |
With Claire. Direct from Temple Hill SE Top. A few inches of snow on the ground. Luckily able to follow quad bike tracks pretty much all the way to the top. | MickyRoss | 23/01/2021 |
Note that the summit area is now surrounded by a 6 foot deer fence which requires to be climbed! | Belfarm | 17/09/2020 |
En route from Biggar to Lanark. | PGCE | 21/03/2020 |
Track through the forest. Cut the final corner using old ride through trees. More short cuts on return. With Rick. | jenx | 04/12/2019 |
Parked at the end of the lane to the SW. A pleasant walk up on the forest track, emerging at a gate, then round the edge of the forest on grass and finally on heather to the summit. Pleasant walk. | LizH | 16/06/2019 |
As other from track to west, parking up nearer forest near log pile. Track does fork right out to open fields and fence edge to final heathery top. Setting sun | N.Morters | 26/02/2019 |
Track from W then tickled my undercarriage twice crossing the barbed wire fence. | chrisbien | 22/08/2018 |
From W - pleasant crisp sunny morning | RobertP | 12/11/2017 |
