Parked at church (NT 0282 3412). Walked road to Nisbet Farm (NT 0367 3293) then up to Bendrie and Cow Castle first. Butter Knowe looked inviting so visited that non-HB hill before heading steeply up to here. On to Treepland Hill and return for a pleasant, if breezy, 8.75k round. | jonglew | 08/02/2022 |
Short walk whilst doing a hill fort tour in the area. Parked across from the two cottages, then followed the track round to the west of the hill, where its a short climb to the ridge. This ridge is lovely and the Mitchelhill rings are the star of the show. | hils | 10/01/2022 |
