From limited parking on verge at road leading to Venchen Farm. TBH lots of space up at the farm house. Walked up the concrete track before the final short stretch over grass. Summit unmarked but not far from a comms. relay array. 3/3 HuMPN.Morters23/03/2024

Superb timing to arrive here at the summit for a spectacular sunset to round out a really outstanding day bagging about in such a fantastic area.Alex C26/01/2023
Last day of our week in Kirk Yetholm- it would have been silly to have missed this Hump. So a drive and bag; parking and route as LizH except we used the diverted path away from the house both up and down. Enjoyed local views from this prominent knoll with brother, Pete.pwheeler16/09/2022
Parking on Town Yetholm High Street. N on B6352. NB – FP has been diverted to E side of wall to avoid the policies of Braehouse. Through gate at NT817296, then open hillside to topIsbjorn09/08/2022
Parked just before farm at Venchen and followed concrete road to within 100m of high point.NormanW06/03/2022
Parked in the small layby at the road junction below Braehouse. Up past house, but should have gone through the gate at the start of the track by the waymarkers. Continued to gate at NT81734 29654 and through this to the summit on the north side of the wall. Returned by a gate nearer the summit (NT81970 29637), and down the slopes to a field gate at wall junctions, used earlier. Used the two gates with waymarker signs on the way back, avoiding the house.LizH09/05/2021

Parked near junction to S and up past Braehouse. Think they'd prefer walkers to use field on right (did so on return) but gate/fence at bottom very overgrown.Aye Jimmy17/08/2018
With Jenx and Bryher from parking by bridge. Lane to house then across pastures w cattle and sheep. More pesky pheasants everywhere. Had to shift a herd of cattle sitting on the summit. Easy back down, easy walkingnordicstar25/09/2017
Easy walking up from the bridge.jenx25/09/2017
parked in small layby to south by road junction (NT821286). Track passes thru' Braehouse with noisy but friendly dalmations. WM post NT821290 directs half-right along SE side wall. Leads to gate at NT821293. Then half left to gate at NT819296 leading to summitcarole engel18/06/2017

My new year's resolution was not to be tempted into doing any Scottish HuMPs - so as far as I am concerned this is not one. It is just a place to look at the Cheviots from.Martin R01/01/2012
